Trent Ogilvie, ED/CEO

Trent Ogilvie serves as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of both Columbia Housing and Redevelopment Corporation and Advent Community Development Corporation, located in Columbia, Tennessee. He has successfully occupied this role for the past two decades. His leadership in organizational management, affordable housing redevelopment, resident initiatives, and the establishment of effective community-building partnerships is widely respected.

Mr. Ogilvie is actively engaged in his local community and serves on the board of directors for several organizations, including Heritage Bank and Trust, Columbia Power and Water System, Kings Daughters School, Stand Together Fellowship, and Columbia Peace and Justice Initiative, Inc. In recognition of his contributions to community service, he was honored with the Maury County Chamber and Economic Alliance Chairman's Award in 2022.

He resides in Columbia with his wife, Yolanda, and they are the parents of two exceptionally talented young adult daughters, Tre'yana and Makayla. Mr. Ogilvie was ordained as an elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and served as pastor at Bethel Chapel and Hopewell AME Church before concluding his pastoral responsibilities after 22 years.

In addition to his professional endeavors, he enjoys cooking, reading, conducting research, and traveling with his family. He is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others and the community he serves. His personal mission is inspired by the scripture in 1 Peter 4:10-11, which highlights the importance of using God-inspired gifts to serve others faithfully, so that in all things, God receives glory, honor, and praise forever.
